Basketball Recap: Columbia Christian Takes a Loss

Columbia Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Emerson Pirates, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 462nd, while the Pirates are ranked 92nd).

Columbia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Emerson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-5.

While Columbia Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
