Enrique Loyola, Laredo LBJ's leading hitter, solidified his role on Tuesday. Loyola scored two runs while going 4-for-5, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Loyola's strong effort led Laredo LBJ over Del Rio and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Laredo LBJ has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
