Recap: Jasper Bulldogs vs. Silsbee Tigers
The Jasper Bulldogs's 23-11 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a serious blow against Silsbee on Tuesday, falling 108-52. Jasper has struggled against Silsbee recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Lamarcus Bottley jr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Silsbee, going 11 for 17 from beyond the arc en route to 37 points and 3 assists. Those 37 points set a new season-high mark for him. Jared Harris was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds.
Jasper has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Silsbee, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.
