Volleyball Recap: St. Pius X Catholic Gets the Win

St. Pius X Catholic had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the South Gwinnett Comets.

St. Pius X Catholic found their leader in sophomore Eveliina Campbell, who had eight assists and four aces. Campbell is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

This is the second loss in a row for South Gwinnett and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

St. Pius X Catholic has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Cherokee Bluff on the 9th. South Gwinnett has also already played their next game (against North Gwinnett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
