Volleyball Game Preview: South Plantation Paladins vs. Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs + How To Watch

The South Plantation Paladins will head out on the road to challenge the Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. South Plantation is looking for their season's first win.

South Plantation lost 3-0 to St. Thomas Aquinas last Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-5, 25-4.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cardinal Gibbons, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on Basilica with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Chiefs as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-7, 25-9.

Cardinal Gibbons' victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for South Plantation, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

South Plantation came out on top in a nail-biter against Cardinal Gibbons in their previous matchup back in August of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Paladins since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
