Volleyball Recap: Naperville North Takes a Loss

Naperville North lost against Lyons back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Huskies took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Lyons scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21.

Naperville North has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season. As for Lyons, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Naperville North will host Metea Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lyons, they will take on Lincoln-Way East at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
