Volleyball Recap: Midlands STEM Charter Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Riverwalk Academy last Thursday, Midlands STEM Charter came back down to earth. The Mavericks came up short against the McBee Panthers on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Mavericks have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-7, 25-10.

Emma Goff was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine aces and one assist. Those nine aces gave her a new career-high.

Midlands STEM Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for McBee, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Midlands STEM Charter will face off against rival Great Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, McBee is set to challenge their familiar foe C.A. Johnson at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
