Woodbridge and University are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but not for long. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Woodbridge barely beat Irvine the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors blew past the Vaqueros 3-0 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Vaqueros: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, University got the win against Laguna Beach on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

University not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Laguna Beach between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-15.

University pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Woodbridge, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
