Baseball Preview: Carver Crusaders vs. Mashpee Falcons
The Carver Crusaders will challenge the Mashpee Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Carver managed to slip by Middleborough the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Crusaders came up short against the Sachems on Monday, falling 11-5. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The Falcons were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Rams on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Falcons have beaten the Rams on their field since May 23, 2019.
Gavin Lakatos spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Michael McGrail, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jackson Carlson, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
