Recap: Keller Central Chargers vs. Southlake Carroll Dragons

The Keller Central Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. Their rough 65-42 defeat to Southlake Carroll might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Keller Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while the Dragons are ranked 36th).

Jordan Blair and Titus Prather certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Blair scored 14 points, while Prather scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Prather has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Darron Scott, who scored five points.

Keller Central's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Southlake Carroll, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Byron Nelson the next time they take the court. Keller Central will head out to face the Bobcat at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Dragons will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
