Reed Burrell leads a balanced attack to beat Prince Avenue Christian

Recap: Rabun County Wildcats vs. Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines

On Friday, Rabun County beat Prince Avenue Christian 59-47.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rabun County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reed Burrell, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Burrell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Hood, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and three steals.

Rabun County's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-12. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Rabun County will challenge Athens Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Athens Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Prince Avenue Christian will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Bethlehem Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on January 15th.
