Baseball Game Preview: Gatesville Hornets vs. Glen Rose Tigers

The Gatesville Hornets will face off against the Glen Rose Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gatesville is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Temple just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. Cullen Kickhoefer made a big impact no matter where he played. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adrian Sanchez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Blake Burcie was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
