Volleyball Recap: Douglas Tigers vs. Whitinsville Christian Crusaders        
        
		
             Douglas entered their  match against Whitinsville Christian  on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Douglas Tigers fell just short of the Whitinsville Christian Crusaders by a score of  3-2. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
 Douglas took Whitinsville Christian into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12, 15-25, 23-25,  15-8.
 Even though they lost, Douglas  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in seven consecutive  contests.
 Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Whitinsville Christian, their win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 4-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Douglas will stay at home for another  game and welcome Blackstone-Millville at 5:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Whitinsville Christian, they will welcome Hopedale  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Whitinsville Christian is facing Hopedale at the right time seeing as Hopedale is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
