Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sugar-Salem). Everything went their way against the South Fremont Cougars on Friday as the Sugar-Salem Diggers made off with a 70-44 win. The Diggers pushed the score to 59-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars cut but never quite recovered from.

Sugar-Salem has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.2 points over those games. As for South Fremont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

Sugar-Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Fremont, they will head out to face off against Teton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
