Last Friday, Brophy College Prep earned a 28-21 victory over Corona del Sol. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Brophy College Prep.
Charlie McGinnis was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 14 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 246 yards and a touchdown while completing 81.5% of his passes. Brophy College Prep also got a significant boost from Carlos Estrada, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 92 yards.
Meanwhile, Mountain Pointe came up short against Salpointe Catholic on Friday and fell 35-26.
Brophy College Prep's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Mountain Pointe, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
