Volleyball Recap: Brazoswood Takes a Loss

Brazoswood was the 3-0 winner over Angleton when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Buccaneers fell 2-0 to the Wildcats on Saturday.

Reece Perk paced Brazoswood's offense, picking up six kills. Perk were helped by Rylee Skinner and Audrey Mulholland, who contributed five assists each. Mulholland was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Brazoswood's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Angleton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Brazoswood will host Channelview at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Angleton, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Terry at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
