Poudre had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Rocky Mountain Lobos. For the Impalas, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Lobos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Poudre was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 14-25, 25-12, 15-8.

Maggie Foster paced Poudre's offense, picking up 12 kills. Foster got some help from Kathryn Rizza and her 14 assists. Finally, Foster was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high seven blocks.

Poudre's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Rocky Mountain, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Poudre will face off against rival Loveland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rocky Mountain is set to take on their familiar foe Greeley West at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
