Recap: Shroder Paideia Academy Jaguars vs. North College Hill Trojans
The Shroder Paideia Academy Jaguars gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 52-43 win over North College Hill. This was payback for Shroder Paideia Academy, who suffered a 61-35 loss the last time these two teams met.
Despite the loss, North College Hill saw an underclassman step up: Jeremiah Perry scored 8 points along with 21 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mekelle Bass, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Shroder Paideia Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for North College Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shroder Paideia Academy will take on Hughes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North College Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Purcell Marian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
