Basketball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost to the Crescent Tigers at home by a 65-46 margin. While losing is never fun, the Maroons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 396th, while the Tigers are ranked 94th).

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Crescent, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry will square off against Morrison at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crescent, they will take on Christian Heritage at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
