Shane Dieguez gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Marathon is 6-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-7 otherwise.

Dieguez's strong effort led Marathon over Berean Christian and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dolphins are a perfect 5-0 against the Bulldogs going back to March of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
