Baseball Recap: Henderson Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Henderson's offense. They lost 6-0 to the Downingtown West Whippets on Friday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Henderson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Downingtown West, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Henderson and Downingtown West should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Warriors (ranked 142nd) will meet Oxford (ranked 547th) at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Downingtown West will face off against Downingtown East at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (44 vs. 190).
