Basketball Game Preview: Napa Grizzlies vs. Antioch Panthers

The Napa Grizzlies will challenge the Antioch Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Antioch took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Napa, who comes in off a win.

Napa will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Vintage, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Napa blew past Vintage 50-21 on Tuesday. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Grizzlies had established a 21 point advantage.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 73 points the game before, Antioch was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell just short of Castro Valley by a score of 2-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Antioch's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Napa, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

Napa didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Antioch when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 66-60 win. Does Napa have another victory up their sleeve, or will Antioch turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
