Volleyball Recap: Lawrence Takes a Loss

Lawrence lost against Washburn Rural back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Blues. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14.

Lawrence's loss dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Washburn Rural, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7-2 record this season.

Lawrence has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Seaman on the 18th. As for Washburn Rural, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against Emporia on the 18th.
