Cartersville waltzed into their game on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the River Ridge Knights. The Hurricanes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Cartersville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mckenzie Wilkie, who had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces Wilkie has posted since back in October of 2024.

Cartersville's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for River Ridge, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Cartersville has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Harrison on the 9th. As for River Ridge, they will square off against North Cobb Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
