Basketball Recap: Ozark Comes Up Short

Ozark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 49-40 to the Waldron Bulldogs. The Hillbillies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Ozark's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Waldron, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ozark will host Dardanelle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waldron, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mena at 6:00 p.m.
