Football Recap: Tullahoma Wildcats vs. Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles
Tullahoma took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles with a sharp 35-14 victory. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 28-27 win the Golden Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Marvancy Johnson had a dynamite game, rushing for 152 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also picking up 54 receiving yards and one TD. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tullahoma will venture away from home to square off against Coffee County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shelbyville Central, they will head out to challenge Marshall County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
