Volleyball Recap: Percy Julian Comes Up Short

Percy Julian lost against Montgomery Academy on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Phoenix came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-3, 25-6.

Rehmat Sidhu was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven aces and three digs. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high.

Percy Julian's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Montgomery Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 28-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Percy Julian will square off against Booker T. Washington Magnet at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montgomery Academy, they will challenge Wetumpka at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
