Volleyball Recap: Deep Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Deep Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Grassfield Grizzlies, falling 3-0. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Grizzlies when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Deep Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Grassfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Deep Creek will square off against rival Western Branch at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Grassfield is set to challenge their familiar foe Hickory at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
