Basketball Recap: V.B. Glencoe Charter Comes Up Short

V.B. Glencoe Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 73-18 loss at the hands of the Northside Christian Warriors. The Gators were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-12.

Ian Vazquez was V.B. Glencoe Charter's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Vazquez also led the team in rebounds with six. Kyson Bordelon took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

V.B. Glencoe Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Northside Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season.

While V.B. Glencoe Charter had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
