Cranston East waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Ponaganset Chieftains. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Ivan Her and William Adenmomum scored all three of Cranston East's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Cranston East's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Ponaganset, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Cranston East and Ponaganset will both be playing Juanita Sanchez Complex the next time they take the pitch. The Thunderbolts will head out to face the Cavaliers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Chieftains will host them at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
