Volleyball Game Preview: North Polar Bears vs. South Colonels

North hasn't had much luck against South recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Polar Bears will head out on the road to challenge the Colonels at 4:45 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

North came up short against St. Paul on Friday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, South didn't have quite enough to beat Doherty Memorial on Thursday and fell 3-2. While the Colonels didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Highlanders 25-16 in the first set.

South actually scored more points across those five sets (110-108), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 16-25, 27-25, 24-26, 26-24, 15-10.

North's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for South, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

North suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to South when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Polar Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
