Basketball Recap: Mechanicsburg Turns Things Around After Road Loss

Mechanicsburg's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Cedar Cliff on Friday. The Wildcats secured a 48-44 W over the Palmyra Cougars. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Mechanicsburg's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Palmyra, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mechanicsburg will face off against rival Lower Dauphin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Palmyra is set to take on their familiar foe Mifflin County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
