After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Graham Local, Troy Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Northridge Polar Bears with a sharp 19-4 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Troy Christian needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

Ella Dersham made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Dersham was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring five runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Troy Christian let Payton Southards and Kaylee Eschete loose on the outfield. Southards scored a run while going 3-for-5, while Eschete scored three runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Twiss, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
