Volleyball Recap: Northwest Guilford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against R.J. Reynolds on Monday, Northwest Guilford came back down to earth. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the West Forsyth Titans on Tuesday. The Vikings have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Ali Burgess paced Northwest Guilford's offense, picking up 12 kills. Burgess got some help from Heliena Magno and her eight assists. Karrington Cook controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Northwest Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for West Forsyth, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Northwest Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Forsyth, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against East Forsyth on the 15th.
