Basketball Recap: Zion Christian Skates Past Grand River Prep with Ease

Zion Christian hadn't done well against Grand River Prep recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Zion Christian Mountaineers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Grand River Prep 53-22. For the Mountaineers, this counts as revenge for the 60-43 win Grand River Prep walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Zion Christian is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Grand River Prep, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zion Christian will head out to challenge Potter's House Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grand River Prep, they will challenge Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
