Basketball Recap: Show-Me Christian's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plaza Heights Christian Academy, Show-Me Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 48-30 victory over the Outreach Christian Bulldogs. The Angels pushed the score to 42-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

When it comes to explaining why Outreach Christian lost, don't look at Davon Gibbs. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 12 en route to 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven steals. Gibbs is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Trae Gharst was another key player, putting up eight points along with nine rebounds and five blocks.

Show-Me Christian moved to 3-13 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Outreach Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Show-Me Christian has already played their next game (against Center Place), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Outreach Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 77-26 defeat against Plaza Heights Christian Academy on the 31st.
