Basketball Recap: Boone Takes a Loss

Boone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 68-40 loss at the hands of the Gilbert Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Toreadors of the 57-43 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Boone's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Gilbert, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Boone will be home for the holidays to greet Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gilbert, they are taking a road trip to take on Pella at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gilbert knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Pella likes a good challenge.
