Basketball Recap: North Cedar Drops Highest Score of Season Against Prince of Peace Prep

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Cedar). They enjoyed a cozy 47-29 win over the Prince of Peace Prep Irish on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

North Cedar's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-14. As for Prince of Peace Prep, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.

North Cedar and Prince of Peace Prep could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings. North Cedar (ranked 318th) will meet North Linn (ranked 35th) at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. North Cedar is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Similarly, Prince of Peace Prep will face off against East Buchanan at 6:15 p.m. on Friday down 247 places (339 vs. 92).
