After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Liberal, Great Bend was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They snuck past the Dodge City Demons with a 49-45 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Demons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Great Bend's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-11. As for Dodge City, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Great Bend and Dodge City will both be playing Garden City the next time they take the court. Great Bend will head out to face Garden City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Dodge City will host them on Tuesday.
