Basketball Recap: Jefferson County North Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Jefferson County North had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They received a blow as they fell 52-36 to the Perry-Lecompton Kaws. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson County North will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Rock Creek on Friday. As for Perry-Lecompton, they will welcome Silver Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Kaws' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
