Baseball Recap: Nipmuc Regional Takes a Loss

Nipmuc Regional lost to Oxford back in April of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors came up short against the Pirates, falling 12-2. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Nipmuc Regional saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady O'Neil, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Nipmuc Regional and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Oxford, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nipmuc Regional will welcome Northbridge at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Oxford, they will host Burncoat at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
