Adena has gone a perfect 5-0 against Piketon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the Redstreaks at 5:15 p.m. Adena is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.9 runs per game this season.

Last Friday, Adena earned an 8-3 victory over Paint Valley. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won eight in a row.

The team relied heavily on Adelynn Nelson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Blankenship, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Piketon had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Mustangs. That's two games straight that the Redstreaks have won by just one run.

Jaylin Forbes was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024.

Piketon pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Adena, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Piketon's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Adena has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .500. It's a different story for Piketon, though, as they've only averaged .349. Will they be able to contain Adena's hitters?

Adena skirted past Piketon 11-10 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Redstreaks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
