Basketball Game Preview: St. Dominic Saints vs. Lisbon Greyhounds

St. Dominic and Lisbon are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The St. Dominic Saints will face off against the Lisbon Greyhounds at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in St. Dominic's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.

On Saturday, St. Dominic was able to grind out a solid win over Dirigo, taking the game 57-47.

Meanwhile, Lisbon had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Morse 32-29.

St. Dominic's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Lisbon, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.

Everything came up roses for St. Dominic against Lisbon in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 63-35 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Dominic since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
