Football Recap: University Now 5-1 over Last Six Games + How To Watch

University had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Huntington Highlanders by a score of 35-28 on Friday. For the Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 56-28 win the Highlanders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Harrison Helbig had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 161 yards and three TDs on only 15 passes.

University has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Huntington, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

Looking ahead, University will head out on the road to take on Martinsburg at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 9.9 points per game this season, so the Hawks' offense will have their work cut out for them. Huntington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
