Baseball Recap: Hempstead Bobcats vs. East Bernard Brahmas
Hempstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 15-3 walloping at the hands of the East Bernard Brahmas. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hempstead of the 11-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Tuesday.
Ben Mayes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-2.
Hempstead's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for East Bernard, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
