Baseball Game Preview: Dana Hills Dolphins vs. Aliso Niguel Wolverines

For the second straight game, Dana Hills will face off against Aliso Niguel. The Dolphins will square off against the Wolverines at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.

Dana Hills took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Aliso Niguel 9-8.

For Aliso Niguel's part, Cooper Flemming was cooking despite his team's loss, going 4-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Carson Etnire, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Dana Hills has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-12-1 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Aliso Niguel, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-6.
