Basketball Recap: Greenforest Comes Up Short

Greenforest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Norcross Blue Devils 67-29. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2020.

Greenforest lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Andela Mirkovic, who posted eight points.

Greenforest's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Norcross, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.

Greenforest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 37-36 defeat against Jasper County on the 1st. As for Norcross, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-32 victory against Brookwood on the 28th.
