Volleyball Recap: Lowell Victorious

Lowell won the last time they faced South Bend Riley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Red Devils had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Devils have posted since September 16, 2024.

Dafne Aguilar-Martinez paced Lowell's offense, picking up six kills. Aguilar-Martinez really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with eight. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Lowell now has a winning record of 2-1. As for South Bend Riley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Lowell will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Merrillville at 6:30 p.m. As for South Bend Riley, they will be taking part in a tournament against South Bend Saint Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
