Volleyball Recap: Hendrickson's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Hendrickson waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Elgin Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hendrickson took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-11, 25-14.

Hendrickson found their leader in sophomore Omari Flemming, who had five aces and four digs. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Flemming.

Hendrickson was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matchups.

Hendrickson's record now sits at 15-21. As for Elgin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 18 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-23 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hendrickson and Elgin will both be playing Weiss the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will host the Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hawks will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
