With a playoff win on the line, Carrboro rose to the challenge on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past the East Duplin Panthers 2-1. The win was nothing new for Carrboro as they're now sitting on six straight.

Alex Ramirez and Josue Sepulvedo Nazario scored both of Carrboro's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Carrboro's victory bumped their record up to 14-8-1. As for East Duplin, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8-2.

As of now, neither Carrboro nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
